Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm that Harry Chapman has signed a one-year contract extension with the club.
The winger has put pen to paper on new terms to keep him on Tyneside for the 2026/27 season, after a standout 2025/26 campaign which saw him earn both the club’s Players’ Player of the Season and Golden Boot awards.
The 28-year-old earned a reputation on Tyneside as a forward with the ability to turn matches in Gateshead’s favour last season, scoring 10 goals and recording four assists in 46 appearances across all competitions, including two memorable strikes in a 2-1 win away to Truro City to help spark The Heed’s remarkable run to achieve National League survival.

Chapman’s new deal will see him return to Gateshead International Stadium for the 2026/27 season as part of Lee Cattermole’s squad heading into the new Enterprise National League season.
Great to have you with us for another year, Chappy!
Subject to FA and National League approval.
