We are set to face Hebburn Town and Sunderland as part of our 2022/23 pre-season schedule.
The Heed make the short journey to The Green Energy Sports Ground to face Hebburn on Tuesday, July 19 (7PM kick off), with admission priced at:
Adult – £5
Concession – £3
U16 – £1
U5 – Free
The fixture is a continuation of the friendlies between the two sides in recent seasons, with last year’s meeting ending 4-1 in favour of Mike Williamson’s side.
We will also face Championship side Sunderland in a 60-minute fixture at their Academy of Light training ground on Saturday, July 2 (11AM kick off), which will be played behind closed doors with spectators not permitted to attend.
The two sides played out a 60-minute behind closed doors friendly as part of the 2021/22 pre-season schedule, with Gateshead’s squad split between the friendly at the Academy of Light and a 2-0 win at Billingham Town on July 10, 2021.
