Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm the loan signing of Solihull Moors forward Mark Beck.
The Sunderland-born striker returns to the North East on loan until January 2, 2025, arriving on Tyneside after spending the past season-and-a-half with The Moors in the Vanarama National League.
Beck netted both of Solihull’s goals against Gateshead in the 2024 Isuzu FA Trophy final – as well as scoring in the penalty shoot-out – to be named the game’s Player of the Match in May, with those two strikes adding to his eight National League goals across the 2023/24 campaign.
The 30-year-old’s last spell in the North East proved to be a prosperous one, with a 15-goal haul across 24 National League North games for Darlington during the 2022/23 season seeing Beck move to Solihull midway through the campaign.
The forward has racked up almost 250 combined appearances between the fifth and sixth tier, as well as playing over 100 times in the Football League for Carlisle United, Harrogate Town and Yeovil Town.
