Scott arrived having spent the latter half of the 2020/21 season with EFL League Two side Carlisle United, where he made seven substitute appearances.
The striker enjoyed a rich vein of goalscoring form in the early part of last season with Northern League Division One side Hebburn Town, scoring 22 goals in 17 appearances across all competitions.
Scott went on to finish the 2021/22 season with 26 goals and eight assists in 50 appearances across all competitions, earning a place in the Vanarama National League North’s Team of the Season as Gateshead lifted the league title.
