Midfielder
Francis arrived on loan from Notts County in March in a deal until the end of the 2022/23 season.
The midfielder made 14 appearances as Gateshead secured National League safety, before signing a two-year deal following the end of the campaign to remain on Tyneside until 2025.
Francis was named as vice-captain ahead of the 2023/24 season and excelled once again in black and white, making 45 appearances as well as being named as both the Players’ and Supporters’ Player of the Season before lifting the Isuzu FA Trophy at Wembley Stadium in May 2024.
