Beck joined on a half-season loan from fellow National League side Solihull Moors in August 2024.
The Sunderland-born striker returned to the North East on loan until January 2, 2025, arriving on Tyneside after spending a season-and-a-half with The Moors in the Vanarama National League.
Beck netted both of Solihull’s goals against Gateshead in the 2024 Isuzu FA Trophy final – as well as scoring in the penalty shoot-out – to be named the game’s Player of the Match in May, with those two strikes adding to his eight National League goals across the 2023/24 campaign.
