Oseni arrived on Tyneside on a two-year deal in July 2024 following his departure from Derby County.
The forward enjoyed a highly impactful loan spell with Vanarama National League North side Rushall Olympic during the second half of the 2023/24 season, during which he scored eight goals and recorded one assist in 15 games.
Oseni is a former Derby team-mate of Isuzu FA Trophy winner Dajaune Brown, with the two both appearing for The Rams’ U21 side.
