Gateshead FC is delighted to confirm that Robbie Tinkler has extended his contract with the club until 2025.
The defender has committed to an additional one-year deal on Tyneside ahead of the 2024/25 Vanarama National League campaign, joining defensive partners Joe Grayson and Kenton Richardson in penning new contracts with The Heed.
The 27-year-old is now set to enter his sixth season across three spells on Tyneside, having originally joined on loan during the 2017/18 and 2018/19 campaigns before returning on a permanent basis in the summer of 2021.
Tinkler lays claim to the second-most Gateshead appearances in the current first team squad, racking up his 179th game for the club in the Isuzu FA Trophy final win over Solihull Moors in May.
“We didn’t have much to panic about really,” said Tinkler.
“I love it here, and I’m really enjoying myself!”
