Ryan Wombwell has joined Morpeth Town on loan until the end of the 2021/22 season.
The Highwaymen currently sit 10th in the Northern Premier League Premier Division and travel to 22nd placed Grantham Town on Saturday, with Wombwell available for selection following the expiration of his two-month loan deal at Marske United.
The defender has made eight first team appearances for Gateshead since joining in the summer of 2021, recording one assist.
The club wishes Ryan the best of luck at Morpeth for the remainder of the season.
