Supporters are reminded that our pre-season friendly against Sunderland on Saturday, July 8 is an all-ticket fixture.
Ticketing Details
Tickets are only available to purchase online via our ticketing platform, and will not be sold on the gate on the day of the game.
Match tickets are not posted to supporters in a physical format – all supporters who have purchased tickets will receive them via the email used at purchase. Please contact tickets@gateshead-fc.com if you are yet to receive your ticket.
All supporters will have their tickets scanned to gain access to Gateshead International Stadium, and we advise supporters to have their QR code ready, either printed out or shown on a smart device, for scanning.
Turnstiles will open at 2:30pm to all supporters, with the fixture scheduled to kick off at 4pm.
Cash payments will be available for match day programmes and 50/50 tickets, though card payment is preferable where possible.
Please note, no re-admission will be allowed if you exit at any time as your QR code must be ‘checked-in’ to the stadium upon entry.
Home Supporters
Please note that there is no access through the main reception area into the Tyne and Wear Stand due to another event taking place at Gateshead International Stadium, and turnstiles three and four will also be closed as a result.
Home supporters can access the Tyne and Wear stand via North turnstiles one and two on Neilson Road. There will be four pedestrian lanes to access the stadium via these turnstiles to enable supporters to enter as smoothly as possible.
Most outlets will operate as cashless with the exception of the North Concourse Bar, which will be the only bar to take cash.
Away Supporters
Both the South and East Stand entrances are accessible via the ramp to the South end of the stadium, adjacent to the main reception. The front of this access will be split, with the South Stand access on the left, and the East Stand access on the right.
The main reception and front concourse areas will be closed due to another event at Gateshead International Stadium.
Tickets will be checked as you approach this area to segregate East & South Stand tickets.
South Stand
The South Stand access is to the left of the access ramp, and we advise supporters to have their QR code ready, either printed out or shown on a smart device, for scanning.
There may be a possible bag and/or body search prior to having your ticket scanned (see below for a list of prohibited items).
Alcohol will be on sale via the bar area, operating in compliance with FA regulations. A one-way system will be in place for access in and out of the bar area.
Hot food and drink will also be available from the food outlets within the South Stand.
Please note that all outlets within the South Stand are cashless, and will accept card payments only.
East Stand
East Stand access is to the right of the access ramp. Supporters should proceed along the segregated route to take them to the start of the stand, and We advise supporters to have their QR code ready, either printed out or shown on a smart device, for scanning.
Alcohol will be on sale via the bar area, operating in compliance with FA regulations. A one-way system will be in place for access in and out of the bar area.
Hot food and drink will also be available from the food outlets within the East Stand.
Please note that all outlets within the East Stand are cashless, and will accept card payments only.
Bag Checking
Please note that no bags larger than a small backpack (450mm high x 350mm wide x 100mm thick) will be allowed into Gateshead International Stadium.
Bag checking will be in operation for any prohibited items, including:
- Flares/smoke bombs
- Alcohol
- Non sealed drinks bottles
- Any sharp Items
- Cable ties
- Glue
- Chains and/or padlocks
- Chalk or any powdered substance
There may also be body searches in place to confirm no prohibited items are on your person.
Parking
Please note that there is no onsite parking available for this match. Supporters should consider using the Metro Park and Ride at Heworth and other stations.
Gateshead Stadium Metro is only a short walk away, with a straight boulevard from the North side of the rail bridge, direct to the main pedestrian crossing in front of the stadium.
Parking restrictions will be in place on both Tyne Main Road and Old Fold Road.
