Gateshead Football Club is delighted to confirm the extension of Taylor Charters’ loan deal until the end of the season.
The midfielder arrived on an initial one-month loan from EFL League Two side Carlisle United on January 14, and has made six appearances in Gateshead colours so far.
Charters also netted his first goal for the club in our 3-0 win over Blyth Spartans after being introduced as an 86th minute substitute.
“Taylor’s character and work ethic has been brilliant since he’s been with us,” said player-manager, Mike Williamson.
“He’s a young lad who has a willingness to work on his game and improve, which is what we expect from all of the lads.
“Extending his loan keeps the competition for starting places in the group high, and we’re delighted to have him.”
