Gateshead Football Club are delighted to sign Jade Halliday ahead of the new season!
“I’m really happy to be playing for Gateshead, I used to play here two years ago so it’s good to be back especially since there’s such a better set up now for us ladies. I know the coaches and the players will help me develop as a player.”
“We all want to push for promotion, we will work hard for each other in matches and work hard in training so we can accomplish this. It’s a really good set up and the environment around the team is great.”
“The open sessions have had a really good atmosphere, everyone got on with each other and we played to each others strengths which I feel we can continue to do as the season goes on. Even all the new people attending the open sessions got on with everyone and by the end of it everyone knew each others names and strengths.”
“Carl and Hugo are really nice people and they also put the player first so I’m excited to be working for them. I feel that Carl and Hugo will be able to help me develop a lot as a player as during the open sessions they were good at giving feedback and praise.”
“Since I played for Gateshead before, I already knew a lot of the ladies and they were all so nice. I just can’t wait to get started. I’m really excited.”
