Adam Campbell has joined League Two side Crawley Town for an undisclosed fee.
The forward heads to The Red Devils after spending two years on Tyneside in his second spell with the club, amassing 106 appearances and 33 goals in total.
Campbell played an integral part in the club’s successes across the past two seasons, lifting the National League North title in 2022 before appearing in the club’s first-ever FA Trophy final in 2023.

His 15 goals earned him the club’s Golden Boot award last season, and he was also named by supporters as their as Player of the Month in August 2022 and April 2023.
“Adam has had interest, like many of our players,” said player-manager, Mike Williamson.
“It’s a great opportunity for him to go and play in the Football League and try to kick on again, because he still has his best years ahead of him.
“He’s been a fantastic servant and he’s a huge part of what we’ve been building here and we wish him well – he’s a big character and I really hope he goes down there and smashes it.
“The door is always open for someone like him, and I’ve made that as clear as possible.”
All at the club wish to place on record its gratitude to Adam for his contributions during his time as a Gateshead player, and wish him the best of luck in future.
