Gateshead will face Vanarama National League North side Gloucester City in the Isuzu FA Trophy third round.
The Heed enter the competition at the third round stage along with the other 23 Vanarama National League clubs, joining a host of non-league clubs competing for a £4,500 prize for progressing, with the losers pocketing £1,250.
Gloucester were originally knocked out of the competition following a 1-0 defeat at Kettering Town, but have since been reprieved after it was deemed that Kettering had fielded an ineligible player in the fixture.
The tie is currently scheduled to be played on Saturday, December 17.
