Harry Moss has joined Northern Premier League Division One East side Consett on a dual-registration basis.
The goalkeeper will be eligible to appear in Consett’s league fixture at home to Ossett United on Saturday, August 31, having been included on the bench for all of Gateshead’s five Vanarama National League fixtures so far this season.
Rob Elliot’s side can also confirm the addition of goalkeeper Ollie Basey – who spent a period on trial with the club during pre-season – with the 21-year-old eligible for inclusion in the squad for today’s National League fixture against Eastleigh.
“It’s a very healthy goalkeeping department, which is nice,” said Elliot.
“Harry is going to Consett as an emergency cover for a couple of games.
“Ollie comes in – who has been with us as well – and he’s signed on for us to be able to come in as cover for Harry going out.”
