Yussuf joined the club in September 2022.
The Tanzanian-born striker arrived at Gateshead International Stadium with a wealth of Vanarama National League experience, having appeared 154 times and scored 37 goals across spells with a number of clubs in the fifth tier.
Yussuf’s most prolific stint came with Solihull Moors during the 2018/19 season, scoring 14 times in 45 league appearances as well as netting three goals in three Emirates FA Cup fixtures.
The 30-year-old spent the 2021/22 season with Yeovil Town, scoring six goals in all competitions, and most recently appeared twice for Gibraltar Football League side St Joseph’s in the UEFA Europa Conference League.
